The Chapel Singers is Trinity’s oldest student organization, founded in 1824. Admission is by audition with director, Christopher Houlihan. Members receive a stipend for their services. The ensemble performs at academic events, concerts and selected Chapel services, including the popular Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols. On occasion, The Chapel Singers travel to venues in the United States and abroad. In May, they completed a successful concert tour with the Venice Music Project in Italy.
Audition specifics: Meet in the south cloister of the Chapel (facing the quad) during any of the available audition times. The audition itself will be brief, and nothing needs to be prepared in advance. Prior choral experience is preferred. Contact Christopher Houlihan with questions, christopher.houlihan@trincoll.edu.
